DIRECTIONS

Vienna - Velden (345 km, approx. 3 hours) / Klagenfurt Airport - Velden (30 km, approx. 25 minutes)

Take the Süd Autobahn A2 in the direction of Villach or Villach – Pörtschach-Ost, Italy and Slovenia. Follow the signs for Villach – Pörtschach-Ost and continue on the A2 for about 13 km.

Leave the A2 at the exit Velden Ost. Take the B83, Klagenfurterstrasse, in the direction of Velden. Follow the B83 for 1.5 km. Leave the B83 at Karawankenplatz, taking the second exit toward Woerthersee.

Ljubljana, Slovenia – Velden (107 km, approx. 1 hour 19 minutes)

Take the Zavaska Cesta (108) for 84 metres until the Ljubljana-Sentjakob junction and then join the A1. After 2 km turn off onto the H3 at the Cona Moste junction. Follow the H3 for 8 km. Leave the H3 at the Ljubljana-Siska junction and take the Celovska Ceste (8) for 3 km. At the Ljubljana-Sentvid junction take the A2 for 20 km. Leave the A2 at the Kranj Vzhod junction and join the H1. After 12 km leave the H1 and head onto the 101 for 18 km. Leave the 101 and join the Loiblpass (B91). Continue for 22 km until you reach Klagenfurt. In Klagenfurt take the southern bypass and then the A2 toward Villach and Italy.

At Velden-Ost leave the A2 and then take the B83, Klagenfurterstraße, in the direction of Velden. Follow the B83 for 1.5 km. Leave the B83 at Karawankenplatz, taking the second exit toward Woerthersee.

From the North/South

Take the A10 in the direction of Slovenia (coming from the north) or toward Salzburg (coming from the south). At Knoten Villach, take the A2 toward Klagenfurt. Leave the A2 at the Velden-Ost exit. Take the B83, Klagenfurterstraβe, toward Velden. Follow the B83 for 1.5 km. Leave the B83 at Karawankenplatz, taking the second exit toward Woerthersee.

From the West/East

Take the A2 in the direction of Klagenfurt (coming from the west) or toward Villach (coming from the east). Leave the A2 at the Velden-Ost exit. Take the B83, Klagenfurterstraβe, toward Velden. Follow the B83 for 1.5 km. Leave the B83 at Karawankenplatz, taking the second exit toward Woerthersee.
